Water Graffiti for Peace is a public art project that uses Chinese calligraphy as a starting place for community conversations about peace.
It is the creative research component of a multidisciplinary art project, Peace is a Woman in a House, exploring peace, gender roles, and domesticity.
Created by musician Shaw Pong Liu, in collaboration with Chinese calligrapher Mike Mei, a team of five teen artist-researchers, and the Boston Chinatown Neighborhood Center.
